Money Tips & Advice on Saving, Investing & Transforming your Relationship with Finances
You’ve been living under a rock if you haven’t noticed that the girlies are outside. With all the freedom, confidence, energy, and new beginnings this summer has to offer making wise decisions is the theme of 2025. No worries sis, because I love you so much, I postponed my solo vacation to give you the tea. Thrive mode is in and survival mode is O-U-T.
It’s all in your head
Trust me, I’m not beating a dead horse when I say your mental health is paramount. Podcasts, eBooks (yeah, I got on, too), manuals, guided meditation, or a daily motivational message hearing positive words of encouragement, suggestions, and inspirational quotes can assist in you transforming the inner dialogue the majority of us experience. Earlier this year, I invested in a money & abundance manifestation guide from a trusted and supported creator, [@thetrapwitch IG] and I have reached July with improved communication skills, additional bank accounts, and a financial plan that is flexible and realistic.
You vs. Bank Statement
I’m going to hold your hand and squeeze it until you feel your pulse when I say this sis, open up your bank app and look at your current balance. What is draining you? What is the expense that has contributed towards your codependence and poor spending habits? Discipline isn’t your enemy, sis. I remember silently pouting because I couldn’t afford to order the seafood boil, I wanted to live in my Atlanta apartment. Now I am recovering from day drinking in downtown Dallas in a one-of-a-kind sequin mini dress. Small wins matter. The same characteristics that feel like a punishment will feel like a reward the sooner you begin to put them into practice.
The only D that changed my life is Discipline
Girls may only wanna have fun, but good girls have a ball! A man may not be able to tell you what to do but listen to this. Our reality is a result of our choices. Our decisions are always under our control. It may seem like every time you grab your device you see your friend, mutuals, and favorite influencer shopping, giving a testimonial on a product you saved, or some random B roll of a beach paradise that resembles your vision board. All things are possible when the environment is stable. Discipline is stability. Stability is power. Stability is safety.
Gorgeous, gorgeous girls network
So far, I’ve attended three network events this year and I have never been so inspired, so encouraged, and motivated to stay the course. Here’s what I learned:
- Find your people. You never know what can happen after “hello”. Listen more than you talk to discover ideals and common values. I’ve created a handful of new acquaintances this year that are bearing fruit already.
- Ask questions and market yourself. You never know where you can fit in a room. Being unique isn’t uncommon. There are plenty of interesting people who can teach you new tips, tricks and give you a refreshed perspective about your personal life and goals.
- You are always a step closer to your next blessing. One of my goals was to have an account with a popular bank franchise and I was able to meet with representatives of the same bank for business, financial literacy, and business development. Talk about a sign from God.
Resources = Opportunities = Money
Money comes is so many forms and it’s time you not only believe that but see all that is available to you. My partner created a set of goals for himself and for over a month he experienced stagnation. With patience he was able to exceed his expectations in less than 14 days. With preparation, focus, and discipline every opportunity he took advantage of resulted in his benefit. Yeah, the men know a lil something too, I guess.
Time may seem like it’s on a spinning top, however it’s vital to stay focused, be smart, and use every opportunity to create safety and stability for your life.
