The Great White Crash Out

Where is Kamala? Where is Biden?” “This isn’t what I voted for?” “Where is the leadership?”

Since November 4, 2025, it seems the honeymoon period has abruptly worn off red voters and MAGA supporters after only six months of their elected candidate being in office. With a dreadful history of violence, selfishness, ignorance, and deafening silence, white Americans made it clear that if they have a side they’re going to stand on, it will always be their own.

Honestly speaking

It’s not groundbreaking to understand that whiteness requires representation and preservation to perpetuate the caste system of white supremacy in the United States of America. It is arduous to determine what is more insufferable: the collective and conflated sense of identity, the exclusion and erasure of indigenous and African American influence or the ownership of pilfered land and assets.

The current public response is not only jarring but just another twist of the knife in the backs of the most vulnerable American citizen. That includes but definitely not limited to children. A multitude of red voters recently expressed their fear, discomfort, and discontent as education, social security, job security have all been threatened or currently in the process of being unavailable to citizens. The audacity factory must be having a “going out of business” sale because the response is baffling.

It is no secret that we all are feeling the tension as prices increase, government funded programs are being frozen, and the dissolution of DEI (stands for diversity, equity, and inclusion) costing the employment and benefits of thousands of people across the nation. Many have taken to social media hysterical or over apologetic with claims of being “one of the good ones”. American history is being erased and reversed before our very eyes and white people  are waiting on Black lives to man the front lines and fight for the very privileges they voted to take away from us.

White, male Threads user questions the pride of Black Americans. Under this administration? Wigga, PLEASE!

It is not lost on the Black community that we exist in a completely different reality in this country. However, the call to action is in the poorest of tastes after months of debating anti blackness, transphobia, homophobia and misogyny the entire campaign against former madam VPOTUS Harris. To witness her being labeled as lazy, cowardly, or incompetent is the bingo wildcard nobody saw coming. It went from blue bracelets of solidarity to an echo chamber of hate speech and fleeting blanket statements.

You can’t pick poison and blame someone else for the side effects. Accountability must’ve been deported with the hundreds of taxpayers who contributed to the national economy. In terms of economy, the tariff war between United States of America and China has amassed an eerie range of responses. The common denominator between the “remorseful small business never” and the “frantic Christian mother of four” is that this isn’t (but it is) what they voted for.

It isn’t the ignorance, racism, sexism or the targeting of migrants and transgender people that is so bothersome. With no breathing room for common sense, it’s their commitment to these behaviors that leaves marginalized communities perplexed at their pleas for sympathy and compassion online. It was completely acceptable to experience two separate Americas when a false sense of superiority and whiteness was all you needed.

Not thanks, I’ll stay asleep

Blue voters braced themselves as best we could for this possible setback. Our greatest weapon is to remember and encapsulate this moment. Do not allow yourself to be gaslit into believing that this administration has intentions to create a thriving society. Journalism is being restricted. Federal laws are being violated. The separation of power is compromised. We will not survive trying to build a false past to justify a future that excludes the lives that built the ground on which it stands. That is what white supremacy does. We may be in a state of emergency, however it isn’t the fight of all American citizens until white people participating and negligent stop erasing the existence and contributions of others. The worst case of “finders, keepers’ remorse” in history.
